Flavour through dedication
After 20 years in the international five-star hotel industry and employment in star gastronomy, chef Ernst Petry set up his own catering company Serioustaste in 2012. Together with its team of chefs and service staff, Serioustaste has established itself as a caterer for exclusive celebrations and events, especially in the greater Düsseldorf area.. The focus is on seasonal, regional and fair-trade products, and no flavour enhancers or additives are used.In addition to catering, the Serioustaste Manufaktur has been producing high-quality sauces and creams for various consumption occasions since 2021.These are handmade and produced in small quantities in a small factory and marketed under the brand “The Style”.
Philosophy
The Serioustaste Manufaktur relies on high-quality raw materials for all products. Flavour enhancers and binders as well as additives are omitted. The result is high-end premium sauces with a distinctive flair and a light flavour that accompanies the dish but does not overpower it. The sauces have a more fluid texture than those with binders, making them ideal for refining meat, fish and vegetable dishes.
